Welcome to Fighting Injustices

Greetings, blessed donors,

Stronger-than-ever storms struck Portugal's northern coast in November and December of 2022, severely damaging my house. This was primarily due to Vodafone Portugal's installation of internet services in July of that year, when a technician broke some roof tiles and drilled two holes in the plaque beneath them to run two cables through. Beginning in November 2022, the heavy rain water flooded the entire property, causing damage to windows, skirting boards, electrical appliances, furniture, and even a model railway that took years to construct. The water seeped through the two holes and the broken tiles.

When contacted, Vodafone ignored its responsibilities. I brought the case to a reconciliation tribunal, but the judge, who originally supported my position but strangely changed her mind during the second hearing because of some alleged collusion with Vodafone's attorneys, suggested that I go to the common courts instead, which would take years to resolve and incur significant litigation costs.

Vodafone has positioned itself above the law and is still refusing to budge after three years of trying to come to an amicable settlement out of court. I've heard numerous accounts of Portuguese citizens experiencing the same issue with Vodafone, but nothing is ever resolved because Portugal's justice system is incredibly slow, corrupt, and biased in favour of the wealthy.

Regarding the matter of the cyber criminals which will be mentioned bellow, despite having their names and the bank accounts where the money scammed from me went, the Portuguese police force has been unable to even track down the scammers who stole my savings from my bank account. It is shameful. These days, the rights of criminals are greater than those of victims. The police even directly informed me that it might take months or even years to resolve the case after I had spent four hours reporting it.

An hour after I requested that my bank halt the cybercriminals' transactions, they still refused to do so. The bank informed me that the only thing they could do was politely request that the account holder of the bank account to which my money was transferred return the money; if that person refused, there was nothing they could do. Transactions of this size typically take 48 hours to complete and are legally stoppable within that time frame.

Since the Bank of Portugal is Portugal's banking ombudsman, I contacted them about this issue, but I never heard back. Unless a client happens to be extremely wealthy, they defend the banks, not their customers.

Vodafone's insurance provider was contacted, but they withdrew their liability by claiming that Vodafone was not liable for the damages. You need to understand how insurance companies operate in order to find ways to avoid their obligations and safeguard their clients. I made sporadic attempts to address the issue, but it was insufficient.

The damages have gotten worse due to the fact that we do not possess the financial ability to repair the house, and because of that my partner's psychological and physical health, who is 80 years old and has myalgia encephalitis, has worsened.

My stomach ulcer, which is a result of my nervous system, has also developed as a result of the stress brought on by the damage to my house and the series if scams against my person. My doctor warns that if I am not careful, the ulcer could turn cancerous.

Right now, that is my biggest fear, but the damage to my house isn't making me and my partner feel better mentally and physically.

In December 2024, my partner even suffered a stroke as a result of the games that Vodafone has been playing with us, because it can.

As I have already mentioned in passing, along with my issues with Vodafone, I was recently defrauded of twenty thousand euros by cybercriminals, who took advantage of my credit card and savings that were supposed to be used for home repairs.

Some of the cybercriminals even pretended to be legitimate recovery firms that offered to assist in recovering money that had been lost to scams.

Since I only use my credit card in an emergency, I rarely accrue large balances. When I do, I pay the bill at the end of the month to avoid paying a high interest rate.

A forex trader targeted me and aggressively threatened to defraud me of my investment in the markets unless I used my credit card to purchase shares and stokes. To my astonishment, all of the money I had invested through the use of my credit card vanished. I lost everything because of forex traders and cybercriminals, even though I was only doing my best to get back the money that had been stolen from me and raise money to fix my house.

My job involves caring for my 80-year-old partner 24-7, who has myalgia encephalitis. I only receive pocket money once a month, manage the household bills, and he handles the rest, like my upkeep with his pension.

In addition to the fact that I have a stomach ulcer as a result of my nerves being at an all-time high and that I am on the verge of suicide, I received a call from my dear sister on the sixth of this month informing me that she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and that the tests and treatments she must undergo—even within the Portuguese national health service—will be very expensive.

She came to me because I was able to assist her with her health years ago, but now that I am experiencing difficulties of my own, I feel irritated that I am unable to assist her. In order to at least help her with the costly tests she will need to have done in September of this year, I would like her to be a part of my fundraising efforts.

Since I have no one else to turn to, I have made the decision to try and raise money in order to get assistance in resolving my problems. A maximum of 120,000.00 euros must be raised, and any spare change will be greatly appreciated. I hope you have the best of luck and I ask God to reward you for reading my request, regardless of whether you are able to assist.

Believe me, I am in a terrible shape and have even considered suicide, but I have bottled up my pain in the hopes that someone will help me.

I have previously stated, when I tell my elderly partner that I'm feeling like killing myself, he responds, "If you do that, let me go with you".

I've been patching my house here and there for the past three years to try and prevent more damages, but the damages are still visible and concerning me a great deal. I am bracing myself for another winter which may aggravate the damages even further while at the same time, Vodafone patronises me and ignores my calls for a settlement.

To sum up, I desperately need the donations to sue Vodafone in court, fix my house, pay the fees that genuine recovery companies demand to get back the money that was stolen from me by cybercriminals, and help my sister with her health care costs.

UPDATE: After learning that Lumina CCI, working with Tronscan, had defrauded me of 2,013.00 euros, leaving me totally bankrupt and in debt to moneylenders, I experienced a severe nervous breakdown and a mild heart attack on July 22, which got me hospitalised for two days. The situation is getting too close to me taking my own life.

After receiving assistance from donations, and getting back on my feet, I intend to repurpose my website for more than just my massage services; it will also be used to raise money for people who have Parkinson's disease and scam victims.
